Hi everyone! I’m very excited to collaborate with Devendra Banhart in tonight’s video! Devendra is new to ASMR but has been using it in recent months to relax, so I thought it would be an enjoyable experience for us to film this together. We have been checking in with each other throughout the pandemic and it is always nice to work with friends in LA. I wanted to keep things simple tonight with some natural oils, light touch, and basic hypnosis. When you sort of gesture around your client's head' and shoulders...it's very relaxing to watch...and I get that you are wafting the air when you spritz the fragrant liquid...am curious, though...does the gesticulating have a purpose in directly treating the client, as in noncontact therapeutic touch? 12:45 Ok...your commentary sort of answered my query. I confess my slight skepticism regarding therapeutic touch and an energy field surrounding people. But it isn't a big deal to me. I used to enjoy watching the late Baba Sen, when he would grab energy out of the space overhead and sprinkle it on his clients while also doing the hands-on massage.

Divine mothers touch, this is what I imagine I’ve missed out on, this has helped me find the feeling of connection, of non sexual physical touch that’s safe .... even though I haven’t found it physically , i have fallen asleep there mentally. As someone with ptsd this has helped me heal.
